These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through gemmies.my. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. “Gemmies”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Gemmies Jewellery.
About Gemmies products
Gemmies creates handmade, one-of-a-kind crystal jewellery. Unless clearly stated otherwise, only one of each bracelet design is available. Natural stones and handmade pieces may have small variations in colour, pattern, texture, shape and finish. These individual characteristics are part of the piece and are not necessarily defects.
We aim to describe and photograph every item accurately. Colours may appear slightly different across screens and lighting conditions. Material information is based on the information available to us and we do not make medical, healing or therapeutic claims about crystals or jewellery.
Sizing
Please review the product description and measurement photograph before ordering. Bracelet measurements describe the approximate wrist size shown for that individual piece. If you are unsure, contact us before placing your order.
Availability and reservations
Adding an item to your shopping bag does not by itself reserve it. When an unpaid order is created at checkout, WooCommerce may temporarily hold the item for up to 20 minutes while payment is completed. If payment is not completed within that period, the hold may be released and the item may become available to another customer. An item is secured only when payment and order confirmation are successfully completed.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Malaysian ringgit (RM). Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be displayed before you confirm your order. Payments are processed through Billplz or another payment method displayed at checkout. We do not store your complete bank or card credentials.
If a price or product detail is clearly incorrect because of a genuine error, we may contact you before fulfilment to offer the correct information or cancel and refund the affected order.
Orders
After you place an order, you should receive an electronic acknowledgement. We may cancel an order if payment is unsuccessful, the item is no longer available, delivery information is incomplete, we reasonably suspect fraud, or fulfilment is prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel a paid order, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
Delivery
We currently deliver within Malaysia unless otherwise stated. Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout or on our Shipping and Delivery page. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and carrier delays may occasionally occur after dispatch.
Returns, damaged items and refunds
Please review our Returns and Refunds page before ordering. If an item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from its description, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs. Where required by applicable consumer law, Gemmies will provide an appropriate remedy and bear reasonable redelivery costs for qualifying defective or materially different goods.
Jewellery care
Jewellery is delicate and requires appropriate care. Keep your bracelet away from harsh chemicals, excessive moisture, impact and prolonged direct sunlight. Please follow our Jewellery Care guidance. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or failure to follow care instructions may not qualify as a product defect.
Intellectual property
The Gemmies name, branding, product photographs, website design and original written content belong to Gemmies or are used with permission. They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.
Personal data and marketing
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Newsletter and promotional messages require separate consent and are not a condition of purchase. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, Gemmies is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights or dispute-resolution options available to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our business practices, services or legal obligations change. The version that applies to an order is the version available when that order is placed.
